Winter was born in New Hope Pennsylvania. When she was 12 her parents moved to Prague where they operate one of the city’s most popular night clubs, Radost FX. While studying at Prague’s International school, she discovered theater and she starred in many of the schools plays.

In 1998, Winter moved to New York City with every intention of studying at Smith College. Upon arriving she changed her mind, deferred her enrollment, landed an agent and started auditioning. A year later she enrolled in The Atlantic Theater Company, the acting school founded by David Mamet. Education in hand, she moved back to Prague with her family and took advantage of the American productions shooting there. Her involvement on the film LEAGUE OF EXRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN introduced her to an American manager who encouraged her to move to LA. In 2004 she did, and it has been a successful venture.

Building upon her already strong resume including “League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, “Hellboy” and the soon to be released “Tristan & Isolde” Winter recently starred in the television mini series “Revelations”.
