CORY PENDERGAST, an Ohio native, planned to embark on a professional golfing career. However, a serendipitous encounter in the Bahamas with a Miami agent changed everything. Without even a chance to unpack on his return to the Mid West, Cory got the “call”. He subsequently flew to Miami where he beat out 1300 actors landing the part of Jimmy Leach in "WILD THINGS" starring Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon and Neve Campbell.

Cory remained in Miami and immediately followed up with a role in the Farrelly brothers’ comedy "THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY". He continued his career by winning the lead in the drama "18" and further increased his growing body of work by securing a part as a series regular on the TV show "MIAMI SANDS".

Inevitably Hollywood beckoned and on his arrival on the West Coast his talents were once again quickly spotted and he secured the lead in the movie of the week "ROCKET’S RED GLARE" .

Another role as a series regular in "MURDER IN SMALL TOWN X " followed while Cory also found an outlet for his comedic talents performing his stand-up routine at the world famous Laugh Factory.

Although he's now based in Los Angeles he returned to his Midwest roots to shoot "OHIO STYLE", a demanding project which he wrote, produced, and starred in.
